Dr Wilson MattaSAWEIRSPeacefully passed away on 10th August 2023 at Queen's Hospital, Burton in the company of his family. Wilson will be lovingly cherished by his wife, Samia, his children Walaa, Manar and Martin, daughters-in-law Tracey and Chantelle, son-in-law Nick, and granddaughters Sophie, Suzi, Isabella and Emilia. Wilson was a devoted family man and doctor. He worked at Queen's Hospital Burton for 25 years and touched the lives of countless families with his kindness, humility and gentle humanity. He will be deeply missed and treasured. We would kindly ask for no floral tributes, but donations instead to his chosen charities of St Giles Hospice and Midlands Air Ambulance, which may be placed in the donation box following the service. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday 23rd August, 2.15pm at St Modwen Church, Market Place, Burton, followed by a private family burial.
